The 26-Day A.S.K. Challenge: Finishing the Year With Faith, Focus, and Forward Movement

December 5–31

As we enter the final stretch of the year — the last 26 days — many people look back wishing they had prayed more boldly, believed more deeply, or acted more courageously. But what if the closing days of this year could become the most spiritually transformative days of all?

What if God’s greatest blessings are still ahead… waiting on one simple shift?

That shift is found in three small words spoken by Jesus:

Ask. Seek. Knock.
(Matthew 7:7–12; Luke 11:1–13)

This is not a passive suggestion. It is Jesus handing you Heaven’s blueprint for receiving help, guidance, provision, strength, clarity, and breakthrough — in any area of life.

And for 26 days, we’re going to intentionally put this framework into practice.

Welcome to the 26-Day A.S.K. Challenge — a spiritual reset designed to strengthen your prayer life, sharpen your focus, and position you for divine opportunities as we close the year.

🔎 The Biblical Foundation: Heaven’s Framework for Breakthrough

Two weeks ago, in our Bible Study, we streamed Pastor Glenn A. Coon’s classic message, “An Amazing New Kind of Prayer.”

In it, he teaches that:

  • Every promise of God contains the solution it promises

  • Prayer is not problem-centered — it’s solution-centered

  • The Word of God is seed, and the seed contains life

  • When we ask God according to His promises, we receive the blessing because the gift is inside the promise

This week, we continued that theme with “ASK, SEEK, KNOCK — Heaven’s Framework for Breakthroughs.”

We learned that:

  • ASK reveals desire and faith

  • SEEK activates discipline and movement

  • KNOCK requires courage and persistence

  • God invites us to pray boldly, consistently, and expectantly

And the same truth is applicable in different industries:

  • “Ask for the sale.”

  • “Ask for what you really want, need, desire.”

  • “Ask BIG. Ask consistently.”

  • “Seek — support, answers, resources.”

  • “Knock on doors — literal, symbolic, spiritual.”

And seriel entrepreneur David Shands echoed it again:

“A closed mouth doesn’t eat.”

“This is the year we start asking for the money, the meeting, the opportunity.”

Heaven, your own life notes, and modern wisdom all agree:
Breakthrough comes to those who ask, seek, and knock consistently.

🙏 Why a 26-Day Challenge?

Because 26 days is enough time to:

✔ Build a habit of clear, bold, persistent prayer
✔ Overcome old hesitations, fears, and pride
✔ Start taking daily action in faith
✔ Finish the year spiritually awake and forward-moving
✔ Position yourself for divine alignment in the year ahead

And because the Bible gives us a simple pattern to follow — one that Jesus Himself emphasized repeatedly.

For 26 consecutive days, you will:

ASK — Verbally and specifically

SEEK — Research, explore, follow up, move toward the blessing

KNOCK — Take courageous action and test doors

This is not magic.

It is intentional faith + consistent action = breakthrough positioning.

📅 What You Will Do Daily

Each day you will:

  1. ASK God for something specific.

    • Provision

    • Wisdom

    • Healing

    • Opportunities

    • Favor

    • Restoration

    • Direction

  2. SEEK a matching action.

    • Send the email

    • Make the call

    • Follow up on the application

    • Research the idea

    • Read a promise from Scripture

    • Have the conversation

    • Look for open doors

  3. KNOCK on at least one door.

    • Try

    • Attempt

    • Reach out

    • Apply

    • Step into

    • Show up

    • Ask again

You are training your faith to be active, not passive.

💧 How to Use the Challenge Prompts

You received a list of 26 daily prompts to guide your prayer and action.
Let them stretch your thinking, challenge your faith, and energize your spiritual walk.

Each prompt helps you:

  • Identify a desire

  • Shape it into a prayer

  • Match it with an action

  • Expect God to respond

Be flexible, creative, and honest with God.

Some days you may ask for something spiritual, other days financial, relational, or practical.
The key is consistency.

To deepen your experience throughout the challenge, revisit:

1️⃣ “ASK, SEEK, KNOCK — Heaven’s Framework for Breakthroughs”

An empowering Bible Study that breaks down the Greek meaning of the verbs, the spiritual psychology of persistence, and the life application of A.S.K.

2️⃣ “An Amazing New Kind of Prayer” — Glenn A. Coon

A powerful sermon explaining how the promises of God contain the solutions we seek and how to claim them effectively.

Both messages complement the challenge perfectly — one teaches the heart posture, the other teaches the method.

What You Can Expect Over 26 Days

If done with sincerity and consistency, you can expect:

Clarity in areas where you've been confused
Answered prayers — sometimes surprisingly fast
Open doors you didn’t expect
Courage to pursue what you’ve been avoiding
A stronger relationship with God
Momentum heading into the new year

God honors persistence.

Heaven leans toward the bold.

Grace flows to those who move in faith.

A Final Encouragement

Every major blessing, breakthrough, and miracle in Scripture followed a moment when someone:

  • Asked

  • Sought

  • Knocked

The blind man cried out louder when others told him to be quiet.

The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd.

The friend knocked at midnight.

The Canaanite woman kept asking until Jesus said, “Great is your faith.”

Heaven respects persistence. Hell fears persistence. People admire persistence.

  • Over the next 26 days, cultivate holy persistence.

  • Don’t whisper your desires — pray them boldly.

  • Don’t wait for blessings — seek them intentionally.

  • Don’t stand in front of doors — knock until something opens.

A closed mouth doesn’t eat…
and a closed mouth doesn’t receive from Heaven either.

  • This is your time.

  • This is your challenge.

  • This is your moment to A.S.K.
